Musings

Is happiness conditional?
What matters most about being alive?

Haiku

Deep dark night you give
Meaning to the moonlight
Even the sun’s high glare
Cannot hide what we
Know is there.
Birds flocked in flight
Small black dots backed by clouds
Apricot, pink, purple
Sweet scented breeze slips
From a wild red summer rose
Threads to honey bees

Spokes matter in wheels
But in the spaces between
Resiliency

Lacy spring green gowns
Worn immodestly by trees
Breezes lifting skirts

Rose as it opens
Ardent for light on a green stalk
Blushes deep crimson.

Deep dark night
You give meaning
To the moonlight
My sight soars in flight
To that moon above
Brilliant bright
